Family-Owned · Fourth Generation

Four generations of getting it right.

Bill Stovall spent his whole life around cars. He was working for Robert Richardson at Richardson Body Shop when Mr. Robert decided to move to Lewisburg and start a new business. He wanted Bill to run the shop in his absence, but Bill had other plans. “If I'm going to run it,” he told him, “I'm going to own it.” With help from his own father, Bill bought the shop in his early twenties, and in January of 1969, he renamed it Stovall's. He started with four employees.

Bill's wife, Janice, joined the business in 1973, and the two of them ran the body shop, wreckers, and storage units together for decades before Janice retired in 2023. Today, the shop has grown to 11 employees, one of whom has been with Stovall's for 53 years.

Bill's son Darryl and grandson Collin grew up around the shop, helping out as soon as they were old enough, and all three of them are on-site every day. Because Bill's own father ran wreckers here after retiring from the Arsenal, Stovall's is now a fourth-generation family business.

What Sets Us Apart

All of our equipment, from our wreckers to our body shop tools, is OEM-approved. We're the largest wrecker service in the region, with the capacity to take on commercial jobs, hazmat cleanup, and a rotator wrecker for tractor-trailer recovery that most companies in our area simply don't have. No matter the job, when you call, a Stovall answers.
